Someone special to me

Imagen
Welcome my dearest classmates and teacher. Today I'm going to write about someone who I don't know how I would live without her. This person is my "cousin", I write cousin between quotation marks due to she's not my real cousin. Her name is Rafaella and she was born in February 28, 2003, almost two years after me.  She lived in my grandparents' house from 2007/2008 until 2010, just two or three years but it was enough to make her one of the most important persons in my entire life. She used to live here because her mom and my uncle (my mother's bother) were dating and, when they boke up, Rafa and her mom left. Vannia, her mom, told me  couple of weeks ago that, when they left, she thought on cut the bounds between Rafa and my family, but, luckily, somebody told her that it wouldn't be healthy for Rafa's stability, she'd been through a lot of changes in her early life so that could've turned into a trauma. So the thing is, we are both only c...

My dream job/My future job

Hi everyone, I wanna start this blog by telling you that I've never had long term plans and always have a bunch of options and sticking to one of them when there's no more time. For example, I wanted to study music, pedagogy in many areas, agriculture and veterinary, and never thought of forestry until the last day to apply to the university. But I'm only starting my career so there's still time to think. One of my dreamed jobs it's to work in the south of Chile, somewhere with not too much people, in the conservation of native flora and fauna, hopefully with a friend or partner (who has to love the nature as I do). On the other hand, I'd love to work as a teacher with children, teaching them about ecology, plants, to take care of the environment, encouraging them to be great people. Although,  I'd love to work at a university too but I think it's harder to get a job in them. If I don't work in any of these options, I would like to work out of Chile ...

An event in the past

Imagen
Hello and welcome to my blog again. today I'm going to talk about, as the title says, an event in the past, specifically, January 2012 in Lima, peru. so here we go with my lovely experience. To give you some context, when I was little I went to a piano school called "escuela suzuki" which has a lot of schools and teachers all over the world but it started in Japan with professor Shinichi Suzuki. It is a method that tries to imitate the "mother language" so it's a very easy way to learn any instrument, but it's easier when you start as a kid.  With this in mind, I went with some piano classmates, their parents (of course), my teacher and my grandpa who is the one that encourage me the most to do everything I want, specially with music. We prepared the hole show in just one week and we played a song or two form every country that was involved. The song we choose to represent Chile was "La partida" from Victor Jara where I played the piano with ...

A country i'd like to visit

Imagen
Hi, my name is Fernanda and I've been given the question of "what country would i like to visit?". That's difficult for me to answer because i want to go to many places but I'm going to talk about three of them now. 1. Cuba. Cuba, as you may know, is a Caribbean Island where you can find a lot of cultural activities such as music, art, beautiful dances, etc. And a lot of beautiful places like beaches, museums, you can go to a bar and drink "daiquiris" and Cuban rum. As I've been told, everyone seems so happy and energetic and that's the vibe I wanna experience. My mom went there when she was 25 years old I guess and spend 2 or 3 months there learning percussion so she made a lot of friends to show her the real Cuba, not only the one that every tourist visits and I want to go there. Also, I have a sort of family there whom I've only met here in Chile but they always tell me to visit them and that they'll love to guide me on my trip there. ...
